Homa Bay and Buru Hill Rare Earth Elements projects in Kenya
On 21 June 2022 Kazera announced the signature of Heads of Terms for the proposed acquisition of a 71% interest in Great Lakes Graphite (PTY) Ltd (“Great Lakes Graphite”), which owns 100% of 3 exploration licenses covering the Homa Bay and Buru Hill Rare Earth Elements projects (the “Project”) in Kenya. Due to issues surrounding the licences, the company decided not to proceed with this transaction. Other than minimal costs associated with the due diligence, Kazera incurred no costs on this proposed project
