Kazera Global owns a 100% interest in the extremely exciting Tantalite Valley Mine, located in south eastern Namibia.
With one of the highest grades of tantalum ore in the industry, Kazera Global has been invested in the Mine since 2015 and, in recent years been focused on multiple exploration campaigns, which, to date, have covered just 30% of the 452.7 hectare site.
The JORC compliant resource estimates are a combined Indicated and Inferred Tantalum deposit of 622.2kt and 125.6kt of Lithium.
Having realized the potential of the Mine for tantalum and lithium production, the Company has re-focused on production, which has previously been constrained by a lack of water. Whilst negotiations continue for a water pipeline from the Orange River, the Company has refocused its efforts on increasing production from water boreholes and ensuring that a minimum of 65% of the water is recaptured and reused.
This process has been so successful that the mine has now produced its first 4,000kg of concentrate for its off take partner and is anticipating a steady increase in monthly production throughout 2022.
Having brought the mine back into production by focusing on using existing water supplies, the Company intends to use a portion of the profits generated to improve production capacity (including the production of Lithium, which is currently being stockpiled) and to prove up further resources.
The Mine is operated for Kazera by DJ Drilling.
